Air New Zealand
A good trip is a fast trip according to Air New Zealand's
regular domestic passengers 25% of whom take 75% of flights. Our brief was to assist Air New Zealand in completely overhauling the domestic travel experience, to make it a congruent, seamless, integrated journey. The goal was to banish frequent frustrating queues and reduce customer anxiety.
designworks placed customer ease at the heart of each experience within the journey a strategy that informed everything from online booking, gates, boarding, the in-flight experience and disembarking.
Working in collaboration with architect Ignite Interiors, the revamp of the terminals began with a range of technical and design innovations. The visual expression represented the idea of â€˜New Zealand Purity New Zealand nature presented with a modernist simplicity through simple forms and graphics and calming colours all underpinned by a design ethos to reduce complexity at every touch point.
