Rebecca Taylor is a young New York-based fashion designer whose clothes are found in exclusive stores and worn by the rich and famous. When a Japanese consortium offered to turn the brand into a three-storied showpiece in the heart of Tokyo Rebecca knew it was time to make the journey from ‘label’ to ‘brand’. Rebecca’s new cat crest was created by designworks for the Tokyo launch. The subtle discovery of a woman’s form inside the regal feline motif embodies Rebecca Taylor’s Hepburn-like love of playful sophistication in the clothes and experiences she creates.
