Tatua is a globally recognised manufacturer of specialised dairy ingredients and food products. What sets them apart from other New Zealand dairy brands, is the depth of specialisation across six distinct divisions consumer products, food service, bio-nutrients, speciality nutritionals, flavours and ingredients.
designworks overall challenge was to promote specialist knowledge within Tatua while co-ordinating the whole as a distinct, value-add brand.
Our focus was on Tatua's strength in manufacturing for niche products; their collaborative, nimble and agile approach to helping clients customise and solve unique problems.
The resulting identity visually communicates the complementary components of the business using different colours for different areas. The use of fresh, loose paint swirls, and diagrammatic icons represents a mix of innovation, science, simplicity and sophistication. It is fresh and flexible, robust and professional.
